If it rains soon after your appointment, give us a call. We can check what was applied and where, then tell you whether anything needs attention.
There isn’t one rain rule for every pest-control product. “It’s fine after 30 minutes” or “rain washes everything away” leaves out too much. The product instructions, application area, and conditions all matter.
What to tell us
Start with when the rain began. Was it during the visit, an hour later, or overnight? Mention whether it was a quick shower or prolonged rain, and whether water was running through the treated area.
If you’re still seeing pests, tell us which ones and where. A sighting after a storm doesn’t prove the weather affected the treatment, but it gives us something to review alongside the service record.
Don’t add another treatment yourself
It’s tempting to pick up a spray and go over the foundation again. Check with your technician first. An extra application may be unnecessary and can interfere with the service plan.
The same goes for watering or power washing a treated area. Follow the instructions provided for your visit. EPA guidance explains that rain and irrigation can move pesticides away from the application area; the product label determines the relevant precautions.
Do you need a return visit?
Sometimes a conversation is enough to answer the concern. Sometimes we need to review continuing activity or arrange follow-up. We can’t make that decision from the forecast alone.
Envexa365 has callbacks included for covered pests between scheduled visits, subject to service terms. Let us know about an ongoing issue rather than waiting until the next quarter.
For questions about a recent Cincinnati-area appointment, call 513-822-2692 or visit the customer area. Have your service date handy so we can look at the right visit.
